Sender id is registered in one business day Mon – Fri.

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR SENDER ID FOR REGISTRATION

       ALPHA ROUTE

  • Sender ID is registered in 1 business day for – MTN, GLO, 9MOBILE. Airtel registration takes minimum of 3 weeks to complete and there is no guarantee for Airtel registration
  •  Your messages will not be delivered to Airtel Network while you are awaiting registration of your sender id

       ALPHA2 ROUTE

  • Sender ID registration is required for ONLY MTN Network and it is done in one business day
  • Airtel messages are delivered with Bulk SMS as sender id
  • 9mobile and Glo Networks will deliver with your sender id

Operators have mandated registration of sender id to send Bulk SMS using the marketing route.
 

The following sender ids are acceptable to Operators
1.  Sender id must be similar to your business/organisation name
2.  Sender id must not start with number e.g. 4GIVEN
3.  Sender id cannot be phone number
4.  Sender id must not be more than 11 characters
5.  Sender id must not contain special characters like hyphen, dot,       apostrophe, forward/backward slash, quote, etc
